  1. ANGELS FROM THE REALMS OF GLORY - 2v (8)

Angels from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o'er alt the earth,
Ye who sang creations story,
Now proclaim Messiah's birth.

Come and worship,
Worship Christ the new-born King.

Shepherds in the fields abiding,
Watching o'er your flocks by night,
God with man is now residing,
Yonder shines the infant light.

Come and worship,
Worship Christ the new-born King.

  1. AS WITH GLADNESS  - 2v (11)

As with gladness men of old
Did their guiding star behold,
As with joy they hailed it's light,
Leading onward, beaming bright,
So, most gracious Lord, may we
Evermore be led to thee.

As with joyful steps they sped
Saviour, to thy lowly bed
There to bend the knee before
Thee, whom heaven and earth adore,
So may we with willing feet
Ever seek thy mercy seat.

  1. AWAY IN A MANGER - 3v (12)

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
The little lord Jesus laid down his sweet head,
The stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.

The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,
But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes,
I love thee, Lord Jesus! Look down from the sky,
And stay by my side until morning is nigh.

Be near me Lord Jesus; I ask thee to stay,
Close by me for ever, and love me, I pray,
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care ,
And fit us for heaven, to live with thee there.

  1. BRIGHTEST AND BEST - 2v (15)

Brightest and best of the stars of the morning
Dawn on our darkness and lend us thine aid;
Star of the east the horizon adorning,
Guide where our infant redeemer is laid.

Cold on his cradle the dew-drops are shining,
Low lies his head with the beasts of the stall,
Angels adore him in slumber reclining,
Maker and Monarch and Saviour of all

  1. CALYPSO CAROL - 4v (18)

See him lying on a bed of straw;
Draughty stable with an open door,
Mary cradling the babe she bore;
The Prince of Glory is his name:

0 now carry me to Bethlehem
To see the Lord appear to men,
Just as poor as was the stable then
The prince of glory when he came.

Star of silver, sweep across the skies,
Show where Jesus in a manger lies;
Shepherds, swiftly from your stupor rise
To see the Saviour of the world

0 now carry me to Bethlehem..

Angel, sing again the song you sang
Bring God's glory to the heart of man
Sing that Bethl’hem's little baby can
Be salvation to the soul:

0 now carry me to Bethlehem..

Mine are riches from your poverty;
From your innocence, eternity
Mine, forgiveness by your death for me:
Child of sorrow for my joy.

0 now carry me to Bethlehem..

  1. DECK THE HALLS - 3v (96)

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la- la la la la.
Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la,- la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la-la la la-la la la
Troll the ancient Yule tide carol,
Fa la la la -la la la la

See the blazing Yule before us,
Fa
Strike the harp and join the chorus.
Fa
Follow me in merry measure,
Fa
While I tell of Yule tide treasure,
Fa

Fast away the old year passes,
Fa
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,
Fa
Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa
Heedless of the wind and weather,
Fa

  1. DING DONG MERRILY ON HIGH  -  3v (27)

Ding Dong! merrily on high
In heav’n the bells are ringing
Ding, dong! verily the sky
Is riv’n with angel singing

Gloria ,Hosanna in Excelsis  ( Rpt)

E’en so here below, below
Let steeple bells be swungen

Your matin chime, ye ringers
May ye beautifully rhyme
Your evetime song, ye singers

Gloria , Hosanna in Excelsis ( Rpt)

  1. GOD REST YE MERRY GENTLEMEN   -  2v (32)

God rest ye merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
For Jesus Christ our Saviour,
Was born on Christmas day,
To save us all from Satan's power,
When we were gone astray:

O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy!
O tiding of comfort and  joy

From God our heavenly Father
A blessed angel came
And unto certain shepherds
Brought tidings of the same,
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by name.

O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy!
O tiding of comfort and  joy

  1. GOOD CHRISTIAN ALL, REJOICE - 2v (33)

Good Christian all, rejoice
With heart and soul and voice!
Give ye heed to what we say;
Jesus Christ is born to day!
Ox and Ass before him bow,
And he is in a manger now,
Christ is born today!
Christ is born today!

Good Christians all, rejoice
With heart and soul and voice!
Now ye hear of endless bliss,
Jesus Christ was born for this;
He hath ope’d the heavenly door,
And all are blessed for evermore.
Christ was born for this!
Christ was born for this!

  1. GOOD KING WENCESLAS - 5v (34)

Good King Wenceslas looked out
on the Feast of Stephen,
When the snow lay round about,
deep and crisp and even.
Brightly shone the moon that night,
though the frost was cruel,
When a poor man came in sight,
gath’ring winter fuel.

“Hither, page, and stand by me,
if thou knowest it, telling,
Yonder peasant, who is he?
Where and what his dwelling?”
“Sire, he lives a good league hence,
underneath the mountain,
Right against the forest fence,
by Saint Agnes’ fountain.”

“Bring me food and bring me wine,
bring me pine logs hither,
Thou and I will see him dine,
when we bear them thither.”
Page and monarch, forth they went,
forth they went together,
Through the cold wind’s wild lament
and the bitter weather.

“Sire, the night is darker now,
and the wind blows stronger,
Fails my heart, I know not how;
I can go no longer.”
“Mark my footsteps, good my page,
tread thou in them boldly,
Thou shalt find the winter’s rage
freeze thy blood less coldly.”

In his master’s steps he trod,
where the snow lay dinted;
Heat was in the very sod
which the saint had printed.
Therefore, Christian men, be sure,
wealth or rank possessing,
Ye who now will bless the poor
shall yourselves find blessing.

  1. HARK THE HERALD 3v (36)

Hark! The herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”
Peace on earth and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled!
Joyful all ye nations rise;
Join the triumph of the skies;
With th’angelic host proclaim
Christ is born in Bethlehem!
Hark! The herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”

Christ, by highest heav’n adored,
Christ the everlasting Lord:
For in time behold Him come,
Offspring of a virgin’s womb.
Veiled in flesh, our Lord is He,
Savior through eternity,
Pleased as man with men to dwell,
Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Hark! The herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”

Hail! The heav’n born Prince of Peace!
Hail! The Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Risen with healing in His wings.
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die:
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
Hark! The herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”

  1. IN THE BLEAK MIDWINTER  - 32v (42)

In the bleak mid-winter
Frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron,
Water like a stone;
Snow has fallen, snow on snow,
Snow on snow,
In the bleak mid-winter
Long ago.

Our God, Heaven cannot hold him
Nor earth sustain;
Heaven and earth shall flee away
When he comes to reign:
In the bleak mid-winter
A stable-place sufficed
The Lord God Almighty,
Jesus Christ.

What can I give him,
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd
I would bring a lamb,
If I were a wise man
I would do my part,
Yet what I can I give him,
Give my heart.

  1. IT CAME UPON THE MIDNIGHT CLEAR  - 3v (44)

It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth
To touch their harps of gold:
'Peace on the earth good will to men,
From heaven's all-gracious King'.
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing

Still through the cloven skies they come,
With peaceful wings unfurled;
And still their heavenly music floats
O'er all the weary world;
Above its sad and lonely plains
They bend on hovering wing;
And ever o'er its Babel sounds
The blessed angels sing.

For lo! the days are hastening on
By prophet bards foretold,
When with the ever circling years
Comes round the age of gold;
When Peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendours fling,
And the whole world give back the song
Which now the angels sing.

  1. I SAW THREE SHIPS - 5v (38)

I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day,
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas Day, in the morning.

And what was in those ships all three,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day,
And what was in those ships all three,
On Christmas Day, in the morning.

Our Saviour, Christ, and His Lady
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
Our Saviour, Christ, and His Lady
On Christmas day in the morning

And all the bells on earth shall ring,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
And all the angels in heaven shall sing,
On Christmas Day in the morning.

Then let us all rejoice again,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
Then let us all rejoice again,
On Christmas Day in the morning

  1. I SAW MOMMY KISSING SANTA CLAUS  - 2v (101)

I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
She didn't see me creep
down the stairs to have a peep;
She thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom fast asleep.

Then, I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white;
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night

Repeat ; I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus...

  1. JINGLE BELLS  - 2v (100)

Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Jingle all the way
0 what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
0  Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells Jingle all the way
0 what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

Repeat; - Dashing through the snow.

  1. JOY TO THE WORLD  - 2v (47)

Joy to The world! the Lord has come
Let earth receive her King
Let ev'ry heart,
prepare him room
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven and nature sing

Joy to the world! The Saviour reigns
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods,
rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy

  1. O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL  - 3v (55)

O come all ye faithful, Joyful and triumphant,
Come ye O come ye to Bethlehem;
Come and  behold him, Born the King of angels:

O come, let us adore him, (x3) Christ the Lord!

God of God, Light of Light
Lo, he abhors not the virgin's womb;
Very God Begotten not created:

O come, ... ....

Sing, choirs of angels Sing in exultation,
Sing, all ye citizens of heaven above:
'Glory to God In the highest'

O come, .......

  1. O COME O COME,  EMMANUEL  -  2v (56)

O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Rod of Jesse,
free Thine own from Satan's tyranny
From depths of Hell Thy people save
And give them victory o'er the grave
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel.

  1. O LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM    - 3v (59)

O little town of Bethlehem,
How still we see thee lie!
Beneath thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by.
Yet in the dark street shineth
The everlasting light;
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight.

O morning stars together
Proclaim the holy birth,
And praises sing to God the King,
And peace to all the earth!
For Christ is born of Mary:
And, gathered all above,
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love.

How silently, how silently,
The wondrous gift is given!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of his heaven.
No ear may hear his coming;
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him still
The dear Christ enters in.

  1. ONCE IN ROYAL DAVIDS CITY     -  2v (63)

Once in royal David's city
Stood a lowly cattle shed,
Where a mother laid a baby
In a manger for his bed:
Mary was that mother mild,
Jesus Christ her little child.

He came down to earth from heaven
Who is God and Lord of all.
And his shelter was a stable,
And his cradle was a stall;
With the poor and mean and lowly
Lived on earth our Saviour holy.

  1. RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER.  - 2v (104)

Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer,
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw him
You would even say it glowed
All of the other reindeers
Used to laugh and call him names
They wouldn't let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
Rudolph with your nose so bright
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee
Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer
You'll go down in history.

Repeat; --- Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer, .....

  1. SEE AMID THE WINTER SNOW     -  2v (69)

See, amid the winter's snow
Born for us on earth below,
See, the Lamb of God appears
Promised from eternal years.

Hail, thou ever-blessed morn!
Hail, redemptions happy dawn!
Sing through all Jerusalem:
Christ is born in Bethlehem

Sacred Infant, all divine,
What a tender love was Thine,
Thus to come from highest bliss
Down to such a world as this.

Hail, thou ever-blessed morn!......

  1. THE FIRST NOEL  -  3v (78)

The first Noel the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;
In fields where they lay a-keeping their sheep
On a cold winters night that was so deep:

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel.

They looked up and saw a star,
Shining in the east beyond them far,
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night:

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel.

Then let us all with one accord Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made heaven and earth of nought, And with his blood mankind hath bought.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel.

  1. SILENT NIGHT  - 3v (70)

Silent night, holy night;
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night;
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing alleluia!
'Christ the saviour is born!'
'Christ the saviour is born!'

Silent night, holy night;
Son of God, Loves pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face!
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth

  1. THE HOLLY AND THE IVY   - 3v (80)

The holly and the ivy,
When they are both full grown
Of all the trees that are in the wood
The holly bears the crown
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a blossom
As white as lily flower
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
To be our sweet Saviour
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a berry
As red as any blood
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
To do poor sinners good
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

  1. WE THREE KINGS - 3v (90)

We three kings of Orient are
Bearing gifts we traverse afar
Field and fountain, moor and mountain
Following yonder star

0 Star of wonder, star of night

Star with royal beauty bright

Westward leading, still proceeding

Guide us to thy Perfect Light

Born a King on Bethlehem's plain
Gold I bring to crown Him again
King forever, ceasing never
Over us all to reign
0  Star of wonder....

Glorious now behold Him arise
King and God and Sacrifice
Heaven sings, 'Alleluia!'
‘Alleluia!’ the Earth replies
0  Star of wonder .....

  1. WHILE SHEPERDS WATCHED   - 4v (93)

While shepherds watched their flocks by night,
all seated on the ground,
the angel of the Lord came down
and glory shone around.

“Fear not,” said he – for mighty dread
had seized their troubled mind –
Glad tidings of great joy I bring
to you and all mankind:

To you in David’s town this day
is born of David’s line
a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be the sign:

All glory be to God on high,
and to the earth be peace;
goodwill henceforth from highest heaven
begin and never cease!
