Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and counties across the UK, but we all have two things in common..
1) we enjoy playing brass instruments and brass band music
2) we have settled in and around the Lancaster area.
- Our main band members enjoy regular rehearsals, the loan of a professional instrument, competing in contests and playing a variety of events and functions throughout the calendar year.
- Our learner members enjoy group tuition and ensemble work, the loan of a student instrument, playing alongside the main band in events and functions throughout the calendar year.
But it's not just players that are part of the band...
Family members, friends, former players and supporters can all find a home with us and contribute to the life of the band and continuing the traditions and new wave of brass banding in the UK.
